The Transition Log

"The coordinates have changed. The system remains."

The Portuguese apartment is sold. The keys are gone. The "Home" we established in Portugal is officially a closed chapter in the log.

We are currently in France.

It is a transition period; a deliberate, sprawling "eval" phase. We aren't looking for a quick answer. We are currently navigating the space between the life we just left and the one we haven't quite built yet.

The maps currently on the table show two primary contenders: Brittany or Normandy.

They are beautiful landscapes, but for now, they are just possibilities. We aren't in a rush to pick a point on the map. We are currently in the "exploration" phase. We are moving, we are breathing the air of the north, and we are deciding what the next "base" looks like.

The Geographic vs. The Operational

There is a common misconception that moving house means moving the "business."

It doesn't.

When we sold the apartment, we didn't sell the infrastructure. The "Production" didn't move. The server racks don't care about the French border. The customers on three continents still hit the same endpoints. The 30-year-old core of the business remains stable, hosted in the same places, running on the same logic.

What changed: The view from the window.
What stayed the same: The "Awesome Crew" and the command center.

The motorhome remains the primary office. The "Production" remains separate. The transition from Portugal to France hasn't changed the workflow; it has only changed the scenery.

The Current Status

Right now, the situation is:

The Inventory: We have the freedom of a sold asset and the mobility of the motorhome.

The Selection: Brittany and Normandy are the focus of our scouting. They offer different light, different terrain, and different possibilities for the next "permanent" chapter.

The Decision: It is not made yet. We are choosing to live in the "Undecided." We are trading the certainty of a fixed point for the exploration of a new territory.

We are not rushing to "settle." We are taking the time to ensure that when we do choose a piece of land to call home, it is the right one.

The Constants

While the "where" is in flux, the "how" is constant.

The Awesome Crew is still active.
Roque is still monitoring the hardware.
Shotgun is still riding beside us.
Marco still understands the "One Pot" logic of our kitchen.

The tools haven't changed. The focus hasn't changed. The only thing that is different is the direction of the road ahead.

All Systems Operational.

We are in France. The map is open. The crew is ready. The next coordinate is whenever we decide to stop moving.

O apartamento em Portugal foi vendido. As chaves se foram. O "Lar" que estabelecemos em Portugal é oficialmente um capítulo encerrado no log.

Estamos atualmente na França.

É um período de transição; uma fase de "eval" deliberada e abrangente. Não estamos procurando por uma resposta rápida. Estamos navegando o espaço entre a vida que acabamos de deixar e aquela que ainda não construímos totalmente.

Os mapas atualmente sobre a mesa mostram dois principais candidatos: Bretanha ou Normandia.

São paisagens lindas, mas, por enquanto, são apenas possibilidades. Não temos pressa em escolher um ponto no mapa. Estamos na fase de "exploração". Estamos nos movendo, respirando o ar do norte e decidindo como será a próxima "base".

O Geográfico vs. O Operacional

Existe um equívoco comum de que mudar de casa significa mudar o "negócio".

Não significa.

Quando vendemos o apartamento, não vendemos a infraestrutura. A "Produção" não mudou. Os racks de servidores não se importam com a fronteira francesa. Os clientes em três continentes ainda acessam os mesmos endpoints. O núcleo de 30 anos do negócio permanece estável, hospedado nos mesmos lugares, rodando sob a mesma lógica.

O que mudou: A vista da janela.
O que permaneceu igual: A "Awesome Crew" e o centro de comando.

O motorhome continua sendo o escritório principal. A "Produção" permanece separada. A transição de Portugal para a França não alterou o fluxo de trabalho; alterou apenas o cenário.

O Status Atual

Neste momento, a situação é:

O Inventário: Temos a liberdade de um ativo vendido e a mobilidade do motorhome.

A Seleção: Bretanha e Normandia são o foco da nossa prospecção. Elas oferecem luzes diferentes, terrenos diferentes e possibilidades diferentes para o próximo capítulo "permanente".

A Decisão: Ainda não foi tomada. Escolhemos viver no "Indeciso". Estamos trocando a certeza de um ponto fixo pela exploração de um novo território.

Não temos pressa em nos "estabelecer". Estamos levando o tempo necessário para garantir que, quando escolhermos um pedaço de terra para chamar de lar, seja o lugar certo.

As Constantes

Enquanto o "onde" está em fluxo, o "como" é constante.

A Awesome Crew continua ativa.
Roque continua monitorando o hardware.
Shotgun continua cavalgando ao nosso lado.
Marco ainda entende a lógica "One Pot" da nossa cozinha.

As ferramentas não mudaram. O foco não mudou. A única coisa diferente é a direção da estrada adiante.

Estamos na França. O mapa está aberto. A equipe está pronta. A próxima coordenada será onde decidirmos parar de nos mover.
